FIFA 12 manager mode tips-A perfect formation.
You need a formation for your team that fits it to make sure that you make the best results. A defensive formation is 5-3-2. On defensive you should have three midfielders and two forwards as you need to score still and forwards are best. In attacking you can be 4-3-3 for the best. It's always good to have four defenders even on attacking but up field you should ethier have more midfielders or an equall amount. But my favourite formation is 4-5-1. It's great for pacey wingers like Bale and Lennon for going up front for the only striker who will then have loads of space.

You should've said about strikers playing wingers if there quick but well said.
ReplyDeleteActually, no.
ReplyDeleteFor the BEST attacking formation (and I'm living proof of this. I've been winning 90% of my matches, and I always play at legendary difficulty. Just gotta iron out the defensive kinks.) to make sure you get LOADS of chances (I have a really slow build-up and I take my time when building an attack) and keep the maximum amount of possession and have the maximum amount of ball-passing players available and also the maximum amount of passing options available in the final third and ALSO to free the maximum amount of space for your attacking three, the best formation to use is 3-1-3-3. The game counts it as a 3-4-3 but that's because there's no 3-1-3-3 option in there. Two wing-backs [in Barcelona's case, Alves and Abidal) and Pique in the middle, not Puyol, Pique is better at passing the ball and he's faster and taller so has more control when making a tackle. Then Busquets (the best option)/Mascherano/Keita as the midfielder who protects the back three. Xavi as a CM right in front of the CDM [Busquets/Keita/Mascherano] and then Fabregas and Iniesta in front of Xavi. Fabregas to the right and Iniesta to the left. Then [and I believe it helps me a lot, because I don't use width that much since I don't use any tricks and don't cross at ALL.] you keep Messi as the central forward, but you change the RW and LW positions to RF and LF respectively, and keep Villa on the left and Sanchez on the right. Villa has to be on the left because he can place a shot superbly from outside the box when he's playing as an inverted winger. And Sanchez naturally therefore has to be on the right even though he's right-footed too. The main point in the front three is that you have to bring the two wide players closer to Messi. Passing becomes SUPER-easy this way and it becomes a LOT easier to carve chances.
If anyone wants the more advanced [Positioning and Work Rates] bits of the formation ask for that and I'll give you my email.
Oh and also I have above 65% possession [it's been above 70% the last 3-4 days] in each match with this formation [remember I play at legendary difficulty and that IS hard].
ReplyDeleteThx for da tips! I prefer using teams that have pacy wingers like Ivory Coast. I put Gervhinho and Doumbia on the left and right forward and have Drogba in the middle. Then get Toure as attacking mid with Tiote and then Kaluo or Zokora behind him. With a good chance of setting up easy crosses with the left and right strikers, I then make sure I have to wing backs, (Toure and Eboue) to play them the ball. Then we go lower down the pitch to have Tiene and Lolo as the central defence.
